The undersigned BEST ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L., we offer return services to our customers under the conditions set out in this Return Policy. Customers who opt for the purchase waiver and request the return of a product are subject to the provisions and accept in full the content of this Return Policy.

Thus, as a customer, you can return within 14 calendar days the products purchased on the website www.smarttabbyboo.com. This service does not affect the right of withdrawal provided for by O.U.G. no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals, for distance contracts.

The following are considered to be customers who have purchased our products:

  • natural persons holding the invoice or fiscal voucher of the purchased product for which the return is sought;
  • representatives of the legal entity holding the tax invoice issued by the undersigned.

The individual Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Contract, respectively to return a Good or to renounce a Service, within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason. Return of products will be at the customer’s expense.

The return period does not apply to legal entities (associations, organizations, commercial companies, etc. that are registered under a tax code).

Thus, according to GEO no 34/2014, the period for returning a Good or renouncing a Service expires within 14 days from:

– the day on which the Buyer takes physical possession of the last Good – where the Buyer orders in one single order multiple products to be delivered separately

– the day on which the Buyer takes physical possession of the last Good or the last part – in the case of delivery of a product consisting of several lots or parts

The period of 14 calendar days is calculated from the date of delivery of the product purchased from the website www.smarttabbyboo.com. If a single order contains several products ordered from our website and these products are not delivered to the customer at the same time, the 14 calendar days shall be calculated from the date of delivery of the last product in the order.

The return procedure consists of 2 steps:

Step 1 – fill in the return form, posted on www.smarttabbyboo.com (<-click). Make sure the product meets the conditions set out in our returns policy. For clarifications or details of your return intention, please contact us by email at office@smarttabbyboo.com and specify the reason for return. Together we are building a better future for our children!

Step 2 – the return request will be processed by us as soon as possible, so please send the parcel with the product you wish to return. In the return package you must also send us a copy of the purchase invoice or the completed return request in hardcopy, so that we can carry out the order identification.

Although the period of 14 calendar days is a period of reflection on the product purchased, the return can only be made if the customer, in turn, adopts a certain conduct. In this respect, Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, in point (47) of the presentation, states: ” Some consumers exercise their right of withdrawal after having used the goods to an extent which goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. […] In order to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, the consumer should handle and inspect them in the same way as he would be allowed to do in a shop. For example, the consumer should only try on a garment, not wear it. Therefore, during the withdrawal period, the consumer should handle and inspect the goods with due care […] “.

Thus, if, following checks on the conformity of the product’s properties and functionality, the value of the product is found to have decreased and it is found that this devaluation was caused by improper handling of the product by the customer, the latter will be liable for the damage created.

Conditions that products accepted for return must fulfill:

  • to be returned in the condition in which it was originally delivered with all components, accessories, labels, including the user manual and the received Warranty Certificate and any other documents delivered with the product – all of which must be returned in their original condition;
  • to be returned safely, in the original packaging (box as well as, as far as possible, the other packaging inside the original box);
  • there are no restrictions on access and use of the product (passwords, access codes or biometric means of identification such as facial/amprime scanning;
  • have no active accounts or personalized settings;
  • not contain personal data – The returning customer guarantees to our company that the product has been delivered without any personal information or personal data. The Subscriber is not responsible for the personal data stored in the product to be returned, the deletion of all personal data is an obligation of the customer before returning the product;
  • be free from physical alterations, dents, dents, nicks, scratches, mechanical or electrical shocks, shocks, signs of excessive use and/or unauthorized tampering, etc.;
  • they are not delivered on the basis of firm special orders for the supply of which advance payment was required.
  • Attention: Please do not stick, you or the courier, the shipping labels directly on the product or on the product packaging (put the product in a bag or parcel and stick the label on the parcel). If the product or product box arrives to us with labels affixed to it, you will be responsible for the diminished value of the product. A return processing fee of 25 lei will be deducted from the total amount of the purchase invoice.

  • Thus, the Customer who has purchased a product can inform us of his/her decision to cancel the purchase by filling in Return Formwithin the term, conditions and steps described above. The return of the money received as the price of the product will be made only by bank transfer, by money order, within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the parcel with the returned product.

In order to proceed with the issuance of the financial-accounting documents necessary for the return, in accordance with the legal provisions (i.e. return invoice, clearing order, payment order, receipt) the following personal data are required: name, surname, domicile, serial number and ID number, bank account. We will use personal data solely for the purpose of drawing up financial-accounting documents, in accordance with the legal provisions in force. If you do not wish to provide these data, the return of the products is not possible even if they fall within the above return conditions, because in such a case we would not comply with the provisions of tax legislation.
